Timothy Daniel Considine, Jr. was an American actor and producer who left behind a lasting legacy on television screens. Born on New Year's Eve in 1940 in Los Angeles, California, he began his acting career at the tender age of 12 with a notable role in The Clown (1953). As the son of prominent MGM producer Alexander Pantages' daughter, Carmen, Considine was destined for success.

Considine's early years were marked by impressive performances on various Disney serials, including Spin and Marty, where he starred alongside David Stollery as the likable Spin Evans. He also portrayed amateur sleuth Frank Hardy opposite Tommy Kirk in The Hardy Boys: The Mystery of the Applegate Treasure and The Hardy Boys: The Mystery of the Ghost Farm.

In 1959, Considine reunited with Fred MacMurray to star as Mike Douglas on ABC's popular family drama series My Three Sons. The show followed the lives of three brothers - Robbie (Don Grady), Chip (Stanley Livingston), and Mike - raised by their widowed father Steve (MacMurray). Considine's character, Mike, was a beloved addition to the show, but his departure in 1964 marked a significant change for the series.

After leaving My Three Sons, Considine went on to pursue other projects. He wrote two episodes of the show and directed another, showcasing his versatility as an actor and behind-the-scenes talent. In 1970, he starred alongside George C. Scott in the best picture winner Patton.

Years later, Considine's character, a shell-shocked soldier, was called a coward and slapped by George C. Scott in the film. Despite this tumultuous moment on screen, Considine's legacy remains one of joy and innocence, as embodied by his iconic role as Mike Douglas on My Three Sons.
